My Honest Pipette Sunscreen Review

I recently tried the Pipette sunscreen and here’s my honest review.
Would I recommend it?
Yes, 100%! I would repurchase again and again without a doubt. It blends in so smoothly into the skin with pretty much no white cast. The price is very inexpensive for a mineral sunscreen.
About Pipette
Pipette was founded in 2019 and is specialized in making skin care products for babies. Even though it’s designed for babies, adults can use it too. The hero ingredient they use is a sugarcane-derived squalane which is great at moisturizing. Here’s more about Pipette:
- Pipette products are made in the USA.
- Broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection.
- Non-nano zinc oxide.
- Some products are EWG-verified.
- Vegan and Cruelty-Free.
- Designed to be gentle – banned over 2,000 potentially irritating ingredients.
Pipette Sunscreen Review
I’m a huge fan of this sunscreen. It’s one of the most lightweight mineral sunscreens I’ve tried and it blends in with just a few swipes. There’s a barely noticeable white cast too.
It also feels very moisturizing and not greasy at all. It leaves a subtle glowy finish after it dries on my skin.
The squeeze tube is very easy to use too. It’s easy to squeeze the product out of the bottle and keep it clean.

The Cost
It costs $13.50 for a 4oz bottle. That’s an insanely inexpensive price considering it is a mineral sunscreen!
Pipette Sunscreen Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 20%
Inactive Ingredients: Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Squalane, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Methyl Dihydroabietate, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetyl Palmitate, Coco-Glucoside, Ethyl Ferulate, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Lecithin, Physalis Angulata Extract, Xanthan Gum, Acacia Senegal Gum, Sodium Gluconate, Isostearic Acid, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Hydroxyacetophenone, Caprylyl Glycol.
Many clean sunscreen brands use similar ingredients in their sunscreens but I did want to point out one ingredient that makes this stand out.
They use an ingredient called squalane. Squalene is found on baby’s vernix at birth and helps moisturize their skin. Many forms of squalane are relatively unstable or cruelty-free. So Pipette chose to use sugar-cane-derived squalane as an alternative.
Is Pipette Sunscreen Clean?
Yes! Pipette sunscreen is a clean sunscreen and is very transparent about its ingredients.
First of all, there is no fragrance, both natural and synthetic. This is great for people with sensitive skin.
It’s also a mineral sunscreen with 20% zinc oxide. On the EWG website, it’s listed as a 3 which is a good score.
This sunscreen does contain lecithin and acacia senegal gum which is a natural gum derived from the Acacia tree. These two ingredients are not necessarily bad, but they are listed as a 3 on EWG so it’s worth noting.

Who is Pipette Sunscreen Best For?
Pipette sunscreen is good for all skin types! Since it’s not greasy and very moisturizing, it’s good for oily, combo, or dry skin types. It’s designed for babies to use, but also great for adults with sensitive skin.
I would recommend the Pipette sunscreen! Especially if you’re a parent, this sunscreen is extra convenient since you don’t need to carry around an extra sunscreen.
That’s all for my review of Pipette sunscreen! What are your thoughts?
