This is my Everyday Humans sunscreen review! I tried it for the first time today and I immediately hopped on my computer to write this post because I couldn’t wait to share.
Would I recommend it?
Yes! Let me first say – the ingredients are not as clean as I like but the only “bad” ingredients here might cause skin irritation for people who have sensitive skin. If you’re like me and don’t have sensitive skin, you might be okay with using this.
The product stands out for me because the texture blends in SO smoothly. I just need to swipe the product once across my face and it already blends in. Like, how is that even possible?

Resting Beach Face Sunscreen Serum Review
I love the texture of this sunscreen. It’s the silkiest sunscreen I’ve ever tried. It’s as silky smooth as the Naturium UV Reflect one but without the oily feeling.
With one swipe with my fingers, the product seamlessly blends into my skin. There’s absolutely no white cast at all. It feels very moisturizing – not as much as some others that are thicker. But overall, it feels moisturizing even on my very dry skin.
The texture is not very thick but also not runny.
In terms of scent, I couldn’t even smell the fragrance in the product. It says there is fragrance in the ingredient list but it’s not strong at all. It smells like sunscreen. I like that.
Lastly, the packaging is so smart. It has a pump like some skincare products do. It just makes getting product out so much easier and won’t make a mess. The color and design of the packaging is beautiful too.
Good Times Sunscreen Spray Review
I liked this product a lot! The product comes out clear and it’s very easy to blend into the skin without needing to rub it in much.
Some sunscreen sprays can feel quite drying on my dry skin but this one actually felt hydrating and my skin was glowing afterwards.
The spray bottle is also very easy to use and it’s easy to spray your entire body with it.
As for the scent, I wasn’t a huge fan of it at first. But after it sat on my skin, I started to enjoy it more. It has a strong vanilla base scent with notes of sweet floral. It’s not overpowering when you smell it from afar but the scent is noticeable up close.
If I smell it up close for too long, it does give me a small headache so I just avoid doing that.
The Cost
On the website, RBF sunscreen costs $21.50 but the same product at Target or Amazon costs $18.99. I think that’s a little bit on the pricey side considering it is a chemical sunscreen, which tends to be more inexpensive. It’s also only 1.7 fl oz which is not very big.
Good Times sunscreen costs $19 for a 5.07 fl oz bottle.
Sustainability
The tube for RBF sunscreen is made up of 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. The whole thing is recyclable! It also comes wrapped in an FSC-certified box which is also recyclable.
The Good Times sunscreen comes in a recyclable aluminum can. It does come with one small piece of plastic wrapped around the cap to ensure that it’s never been used.
Is It Non-Toxic?
Unfortunately, the Everyday Humans Resting Beach Face sunscreen isn’t as clean as I wish. I’ll point out some ingredients I have the most concerns with:
- Cyclomethicone: Some studies say this ingredient is safe to use but others say it can be potentially an endocrine disruptor. I try to avoid it if I can.
- Triethanolamine: This ingredient is safe but can cause skin irritation for people with sensitive skin.
- PEG-40: This is not too concerning for me but it can cause skin irritation for some.
- Parfum: The fragrance is undisclosed. All the website mentions is it’s COSMOS Certified Natural Fragrance. This program has one of the strictest criteria for fragrances so I’m not as concerned about this ingredient. I would still patch test it to make sure.
Even though I didn’t love the ingredient list, I was very impressed with the product itself. I didn’t experience any skin irritation.
As for Good Time Sunscreen Spray, I was happy to see the ingredients are much cleaner than the RBF sunscreen serum.
All the fragrance is listed including honeysuckle extract and papaya seed oil. These are not known to cause skin irritation which is amazing.
The only ingredient to point out is SD Alcohol 40-B. Any spray sunscreen will have alcohol but just keep in mind it can cause skin to dry out. Even though I have dry skin, this one didn’t cause my skin to feel dry. But again, patch test it for yourself.
Jasmine’s Final Thoughts
I’m conflicted because I absolutely love the feel of the Resting Beach Face sunscreen but the ingredients just missed the mark for me. I would continue to use the rest of the tube though because it didn’t cause any skin irritation for me. The product is good for all skin types too.
As for the Good Time spray, I do recommend it for all skin types. It did feel moisturizing on my dry skin and I like the hydrating extracts in the formula. Overall, a great choice for a sunscreen spray!
